For poutine fans living in Midtown Toronto your life is about to get a million times better. Smoke’s Poutinerie is opening a location right at Yonge and Eglinton!
Smoke’s Poutinerie opened its first location in 2008 and has had raging success right from the start. They have multiple locations in Toronto and are expanding in the city (obviously). They also have location coast-to-coast. Smoke’s has locations in Ontario, Quebec, Alberta, British Columbia, Manitoba, New Brunswick, Nova Scotia, Newfoundland, and Saskatchewan.
Smoke’s serves up over 30 different poutines. From classic poutine to more creative combinations there is something for everyone. You can indulge in a Steak Fajita poutine, bacon cheeseburger poutine, and if you’re a vegetarian you can have one of their 4 vegetarian poutines made with vegetable gravy. Call me a purest but I personally prefer the classic poutine. I’ve sampled a few different creations on occasion though and can attest that they are all delicious creations. Smoke’s Poutinerie was a unique concept in Toronto when they opened in 2008. Since then many people have tried to copy the success that Smoke’s Poutinerie have had serving up gravy, curds, and fries to Torontonians looking to indulge in some greasy comfort food. None have succeed though.
The arrival of Smoke’s Poutinerie at Yonge and Eglinton will also add a great (and welcomed!) “late night” option for those living in the many homes and condos at Yonge and Eglinton. Smoke’s Poutine at Yonge and Eglinton will be open until 3AM on Thursdays and 4AM on Friday/Saturday. It will be perfect for those looking to indulge after a night out on the town as it is right outside the TTC – Eglinton Station subway stop.
We’ll be sure to update you about when they will be officially opening their doors.
